I developed a passion

to plan events very early on and started with fundraisers and events for family and friends. I blossomed in high school organizing our homecoming, prom and senior ball as Class President.

It was the enthusiastic reaction from the guests of such events that piloted me to move forward.

I perfected an eye for detail and cultivated my social engineering skills to ensure working with different venues and their staff went flawlessly.

Receiving my Bachelors of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of California, San Diego only spearheaded my determination to figure out my niche in this industry.

In 2012, I interned with Serenity Events and began planning and coordinating weddings. It was then that I knew what my calling was. Helping couples create the most magical moment of their lives.

I launched JL Events once I moved back to the SF Bay Area in 2014.  My goal for every event is the same, "making my clients happy!"
